Industry Partners
At Caron Transportation Systems, we want to strengthen and grow the transportation industry. To meet this goal, we work closely with industry partners like Women Building Futures, Grande Prairie Regional College and our provincial and federal transportation associations.
We are a people-focused company and our success depends on the people we hire and the communities in which we operate. Through partnerships within the industry, we help both our employees and the transportation community to succeed.

We believe in a more inclusive workforce for all, which is why we are proud to support Women Building Futures.
Each year, we sponsor students attending the Professional Class 1 Driver program. Once graduates complete the program, we employ students to further develop their skills in the industry by providing ongoing training and support.
If you are a woman looking to start your career as a professional Class 1 driver, please connect with our partner, Women Building Futures. To learn more about how you can apply for industry training that leads to employment opportunities, please visit the Women Building Futures website.

Grande Prairie Regional College
GPRC Continuing Education is located in the Peace Region. With our partnership, we are working inclusively with the Indigenous communities in the area and helping students get on the road to a new career.
We have provided GPRC with a tractor on a $1 renewal lease and donated a trailer unit for use in their Professional Class 1 driver training program. This new addition to their fleet supports them in training safe and qualified Professional Class 1 drivers.
Caron has also sponsored students to take the Professional Class 1 driver training program with employment contracts in place once training is complete.

Caron Transport is an active member of the Alberta Motor Transportation Association. While working closely with AMTA, we have advanced the commercial transportation industry through safety programs, progressive policy and partnerships.
AMTA is the unified voice of Alberta’s trucking industry. We are committed to representing and advocating the interests of all our members to both the provincial and federal governments, and organizations. Whether it’s raising issues in parliament, designing cutting-edge safety programs or fostering collaboration between members, the AMTA is advancing Alberta’s transportation industry.
AMTA is a trusted resource and advisor to our company. We value the work they are doing to improve the safety in our industry and our province.
