Flyash

What is it?
Flyash is a fine, powdery material that consists of small spherical particles. It is a byproduct of coal combustion in power plants and is collected by electrostatic precipitators before it is released into the atmosphere.
Flyash contains various minerals and metals and is often used as a supplementary cementitious material in concrete production. Its high pozzolanic properties make it valuable in the construction industry.
